
Xiaomi’s long rumored premium device, the Mi Note 2 is said to come in two variants. One variant will have 4GB of RAM while other is said to come with 6GB of RAM.
There have been several rumors that strongly suggests that Xiaomi has been working on the Mi Note successor, the Mi Note 2. We have already come across leaked renders that reveal the Mi Note 2 sports Galaxy Note 7-like dual edge curved display. While there is no official confirmation on the launch date of the next-generation Xiaomi Note, the latest rumor, reported by Androidpure, hints that the company might be planning to release more than one variant of the flagship Mi smartphone. This time around, a Snapdragon 820 chipset variant with 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM is being rumored.
According to previous rumors, the Mi Note is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor along with 6GB of RAM. While a few leaked images have revealed a curved display, the leaks also show the smartphone could come with a dual-camera setup.
The Mi Note 2 leaked render shows a design that is not a lot very different from the Mi 5. The front has a curved glass display along with a rectangular home button. The render also shows the speakers are located at the bottom of the phone along with USB Type-C port. The back of the phone has a glass body, and the highlight is camera setup at the back that includes two camera lenses along with a dual-tone flash at the top left corner.

Based on what we know so far, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will flaunt a 5.7-inch QHD display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor, and is expected to come in three variants — 32GB (4GB RAM), 64GB (6GB RAM), and 128GB (6GB RAM).
The phablet is also expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera. It will be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. On the connectivity front, the smartphone is expected to support dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GPS. The smartphone could run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Based on leaks and rumors, the Mi Note 2 seems like a premium device. As of now, details about the launch date and pricing of the Mi Note 2 are not available. However, the rate at which leaks are emerging, we can expect the launch to take place very soon.
