The Huawei P10 Plus along with Huawei P10 are expected to be launched at MWC 2017.
Huawei is expected to unveil the P10 and P10 Plus smartphones the MWC 2017 on February 26. And just days ahead of the official unveiling, some official renders of the Huawei P10 Plus have been leaked, leaving nothing to the imagination. Now as opposed to what we had learnt earlier that the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will both feature the dual-curved edge display, the new leak suggests that the P10 would actually come with a flat screen.
In addition to that, another difference between the two smartphones is the placement of the fingerprint sensor. While the Huawei P10 Plus will feature the fingerprint sensor at the back, the P10 will sport the fingerprint sensor on the front. However, besides the screen size and biometric authentication sensor’s position, the P10 and P10 Plus are set to be identical in terms of specifications.
Other than that, the leaked renders show off an uncanny resemblance of the Huawei P10 Plus with the Galaxy S7 edge. The images show the display on the Huawei P10 Plus spilled to the edges, with no home button on the front panel. In addition, we can see the smartphone retains the 3.5mm audio jack. On the bottom edge, it also features stereo speakers and a Type-C port for changing. At the back, the Huawei P10 Plus features a dual camera setup with dual flash.
Earlier leaks have also revealed that the Huawei P10 Plus will sport a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display. Under the hood, the device will be powered by in-house Kirin 965 chipset, along with a whopping 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable internal storage. Fuelling the device will be a 3,650 mAh battery. On the software front, it will run Android Nougat with EMUI 5.0 layered on top. ALSO READ: Huawei P10 Plus with iris scanner leaked ahead of MWC 2017
On the camera front, the Huawei P10 Plus is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup with a combination of two 12-megapixel sensors that can deliver DSLR-like bokeh effect. Up front will be an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. In addition to that, the Huawei P10 Plus was recently spotted on a Spanish website, which also revealed the device’s purported price tag of $799, which approximately translates to Rs 54,300.
Like we mentioned above, the Huawei P10 Plus will be unveiled alongside the Huawei P10, which is expected to feature a 5.5-inch flat screen display, while some leaks earlier have also hinted at a dual-curved edge display on the device. The P10 smartphone will be powered by a Kirin 960 chipset and will come in variants with a combination of 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, 4GB of RAM 64GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB on-board storage. On the software front, the Huawei P10 is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Leaks have also anticipated the price of the Huawei P20, suggesting the 4GB/32GB model priced at RMB 3,488 (Rs 34,100 approximately), the 4GB/64GB variant at RMB 4,088 (Rs 40,000 approximately), and the 6GB/128GB one at RMB 4,688 (Rs 45,900 approximately) respectively.
