Intex Aqua Music with dual speakers and 4G VoLTE support launched for Rs 9,317: Specifications and features

Intex brings a music-centric smartphone with the Aqua Music priced at Rs 9,317. The smartphone features dual speakers, which the company claims will give a powerful music experience. The Intex Aqua Music also supports 4G VoLTE.


Intex has added another smartphone in their Aqua series, called the Intex Aqua Music. Priced at Rs 9,317, the main highlights of the smartphone are the two dual speakers aimed to give an improved audio experience. The Intex Aqua Music comes in two colors – grey and silver. The smartphone is listed on the official website of Intex but its availability is not yet known.

The Intex Aqua Music smartphone comes preloaded with apps like Matrabhasha that has 21 Indian launguages, MobiKwik, Amazon, Saavn, Opera Mini, Opera Max, and Clean Master.

Intex Aqua Music specifications

The Intex Aqua Music features a 5.5-inch (1920×720 pixels) HD IPS display with five-finger touch display. A 1.3GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 chipset along with 2GB of RAM runs under its hood. The smartphone comes with an internal storage of 16GB, which is further expandable up to 32 via a microSD card.

The Intex Aqua Music sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The rear comes with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, dual LED flash and Samsung Sensor. It is powered by 3,400mAh battery which the company claims will give 6-7 hours of talktime with a standby time of more than 10 days. On the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Its connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.

While selfie-centric smartphones are rising on a rapid rate, music-centric smartphones are catching up as well. Prior to Intex’s Aqua Music, Micromax recently launched the Canvas Fire 5 sporting dual-front speakers. It is also worth noting that Intex Aqua Music comes with 4G VoLTE support. The Intex Aqua Music will be competing against a wide range of budget smartphones such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3s, Coolpad Note 3 Lite, and Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus among others.
