Honor 8 Pro to go on open sale from tonight midnight via Amazon India, priced at Rs 29,999.
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently released the Honor 8 Pro in India. The smartphone is exclusively available online via Amazon India. The Honor 8 Pro will be available for sale in India via the e-commerce platform starting midnight tonight. Priced at Rs 29,999 the Honor 8 Pro boasts a dual rear camera setup and competes against the OnePlus 5.
The Honor 8 Pro had gone on sale earlier this week during the Amazon Prime Day that was only open for only Amazon Prime members. According to the company, it received great response from the customers on the first exclusive sale. Now, the company has announced that the new Honor smartphone will be available for open sale from Thursday, July 13, exclusively via Amazon India.
As a part of the open sale, Honor 8 Pro can be bought at no cost EMI via Bajaj Finserv for a period of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Additionally, on every purchase of the Honor 8 Pro, Vodafone India will be giving away 45GB of 4G data for five months. Honor 8 Pro features and specifications
The Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) LTPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It is powered by Huawei’s proprietary Kirin 960 octa-core processor. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage board which is further expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. In terms of optics, the Honor 8 Pro has a pair of a 12-megapixel RGB and a 12-megapixel monochrome sensor as the primary setup on the back panel with LED flash, PDAF, AutoFocus, f/2,2 aperture and 4K video recording. Up front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. For connectivity, the smartphone includes dual-SIM (nano SIM + Micro SIM) support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It comes in Midnight Black and Navy Blue color variants. Interestingly, the box it comes within can be converted and used as a VR headset.
