Asus ZenFone AR sale on Flipkart: Price, offers and everything you need to know

Asus today launched its first smartphone that is both Project Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready. The smartphone was first unveiled at CES 2017, and now has finally made its way to India. The Zenfone AR is priced at Rs 49,999, and is now exclusively available via Flipkart.

Flipkart in partnership with Asus is providing different offers on buying the Zenfone AR. As a part of the introductory offer, Flipkart will offer customers Rs 2,500 off on the purchase of Google Daydream VR headset. However, this offer will only be valid if customers choose to buy the Daydream VR with the Asus Zenfone AR smartphone. Customers can also opt for nine months of no-cost EMI to buy the smartphone. Apart from this, Reliance Jio customers buying the Zenfone AR will get additional 100GB of free data and Jio Prime membership. Here, Jio users can either avail the offer by buying a 10GB data voucher per recharge, or recharging with Rs 309 or above for a maximum of 10 recharge till March 2018.

The Zenfone AR comes with a 5.7-inch wide quad HD Super AMOLED (2560×1440p pixels) display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC. The company, however, said that the SoC has been optimized keeping in mind the Tango AR and Daydream VR aspects of the smartphone.

On the photography front, the smartphone comes with a TriCam system sporting a 23-megapixel camera along with motion-tracking and depth sensing technology. There is a dual-tone LED flash at the back. The camera is capable of recording 4K ultra HD videos @30fps, and also supports RAW files. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera along with screen flash. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and BoostMaster Fast Charging, which is claimed to take the power up to 60 percent in 39 minutes of charge. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB-C. On the software front, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat wrapped under ASUS ZenUI 3.0.
