The HTC U11 will now be avaiable in three colors- silver, black and sapphire blue in India.
HTC launched its flagship U11 smartphone in India last month in silver and black color variants. Now, the company has announced that the ‘Sapphire Blue’ color variant is also available in India, and can be pre-ordered as well. The company took to Twitter to announced the launch of the new color variant. The U11 is priced at Rs 51,990 and can be purchased from HTC’s e-store.
One of the main highlights of the HTC U11 remains the Edge Sense. The feature makes it possible for users to squeeze the phone and operate some of its functions. For instance, the apps and the camera can be operated by squeezing the sides of the phone. Apart from apps, the squeeze gesture can also be used to trigger voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant. HTC U11 supports Alexa only in the US and the UK. Additionally, the HTC U11 also supports 360-degree audio recording, which allows the smartphone to capture 3D sound with acoustics. The smartphone will face tough competition with the likes of OnePlus 5, Honor 8 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+.
