Open sale for Xiaomi Mi Max 2 begins today at 10AM across online and offline platforms.

Xiaomi launched the Mi Max 2 phone earlier this month. Priced at Rs 16,999, the phablet was a part of 3rd Mi Anniversary sale, which took place earlier this week. Starting today, the Mi Max 2 will be available across major e-commerce platforms including Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm Mall and Tata Cliq. The devices will also be available via offline stores. Offline sales at Mi Home in Bengaluru commenced on July 20, whereas retail chains like Vijay Sales, e-Zone, LOT, Poorvika, BigC, and Sangeetha will stock the phones starting today. The open sale for the phablet will begin at 10AM today.

Xiaomi also announced that in their 3rd Mi Anniversary sale, the Mi Max 2 was the ‘hottest’ product that got sold followed by the Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4. As a part of the sale,  Mi Max 2 will come with additional EMI options. On Flipkart, the phone will come with Flipkart’s Buyback Guarantee for Rs 299. If users pay Rs 299 extra with the phone, they can avail an exchange value of up to Rs 6,800, when users want to upgrade to a new phone within 12 months from purchase.

Having said that, Mi Max 2 is not the only phone the company is putting on sale today. The company will also be putting the Redmi 4A up for grab at 12PM today. However, the sale is only limited to Amazon India. Keeping in mind the past sales, we would advise you to be online prior to the sale considering Xiaomi will put only a limited number of units up on sale.
