Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 went on its first sale six months ago in India, and Flipkart is celebrating.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 about six months ago in India. To celebrate the six month anniversary of the smartphone, e-commerce partner Flipkart has announced a big Redmi Note 4 sale. The sale is scheduled for August 2, and will kick off at 12:00PM.
As part of the big Redmi Note 4 sale, buyers will be able to avail a bunch of deals and exchange offers, including the buyback guarantee scheme. The assured buyback guarantee can be availed for a price of Rs 249. As per the scheme, Flipkart will offer 40 percent of the total cost of the Redmi Note 4 smartphone back to the customer, if exchanged within a period of six to eight months. Buyers can also avail exchange discount on their old smartphones for up to Rs 12,000. Whereas, no cost EMI with Citi credit card starts from Rs 1,111 month for a brand new Redmi Note 4.
Redmi Note 4 in India comes in three storage variants. Buyers can choose from a Redmi Note 4 2GB RAM/16GB storage for Rs 9,999 or 3GB RAM/32GB storage for Rs 10,999. A higher variant of the smartphone with 4GB RAM/64GB storage is priced at Rs 12,999. With every purchase of the Redmi Note 4 smartphone, Flipkart will also be giving away customers an additional Rs 500 discount on Mi Air Purifier 2. The Redmi Note 4 first went on sale in India back in January, and it sold 250,000 units. Since then the smartphone has broken a couple of company records. As per a Counterpoint report, the Redmi Note 4 is India’s top selling smartphone online. ALSO READ: Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Review
In terms of features and specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5 curved glass on the top. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC, and has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. It currently runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 based MIUI 8 out-of-the-box. However, last month Xiaomi revealed that the smartphone would soon be updated to Android Nougat. The Redmi Note 4 has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has hybrid dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth for the connectivity. It houses a 4,100mAh battery and comes in Black, Gold, Grey color options.
