Based on what we have come across so far, the Galaxy Note 8 is said to feature a 6.4-inch display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution. Under the hood will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 GPU, or Exynos 8895 SoC with Mali G71 GPU, depending on the region it is being sold.

For photography, it is expected to sport a dual-camera setup at the back, which is believed either to be a combination of a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor, or pair of 12-megapixel sensors. If the latter is true, reports suggest that out of the two, one would be a wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture, and the other a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, and 2x optical zoom capabilities.

Staying vary of what went down with the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung has been known to house a smaller 3,300mAh battery inside the Galaxy Note 8. The smartphone is rumored to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. ALSO READ: Samsung Galaxy Note 8 official teaser confirms Infinity Display, S Pen support
