On PM Modi's 67th birthday today, the BJP is observing the day as 'Sewa Diwas' or Day of Service.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 67 today. Noted politicians, celebrities, and dignitaries from around the world have already sent in greetings via Twitter and made #HappyBirthdayPM a top trend on the micro-blogging site. But Twitter the open platform, anyone can send in their wishes to PM Modi. However, there are ways to do so and some of them might even get you PM Modi’s thank you message.

Similar to last year, the NaMo app for Android and the iOS app have been updated again for you to send in your greetings to PM Modi. Once you have downloaded the app, swipe right from the home screen. Click on “Wish the PM”. This will take you the screen where you can choose from a number of PM Modi’s photo from the app gallery. Add a personalized message to it and send it across. In return, you will be treated with a thanking video from PM Modi himself.

On his 67th birthday today, the BJP is observing the day as “Sewa Diwas” or Day of Service. The event is seeing participation from Union ministers, Defence Ministers, and others. Alongside, party members are running cleanliness drives across the nation and announced ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ programmes. PM Modi is currently on a visit to Gujarat, where he dedicated the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Kevadia, also described as ‘Gujarat’s lifeline’ to people.
