Nokia 9 is expected to support wireless charging.
It was only recently that HMD Global launched its Nokia 8 flagship smartphone. But the next-in line Nokia 9 has already started doing the rounds of the internet. The smartphone has been spotted online before, however, the latest mockup image shows off the Nokia 9 in a different color.
The mockup, spotted on Baidu, showcases the Nokia 9 in a polished blue color. Previously, the phone was spotted in gold color. Both the front and rear panels of the smartphone have been detailed in the latest image. Based on that, the Nokia 9 appears to feature a dual-camera setup at the back, placed right above the circular fingerprint sensor.
One of the talking points of the Nokia 9 could be its display. As the image suggests, there appears to be an edge-to-edge OLED display adorning the front of the smartphone. A report on NPU states that the display will have 3D glass layered atop, giving bezel-less illusion. Riding on the wireless charging phenomenon, the Nokia 9 is also likely to put the 3D glass design at the back to good use, and add support for wireless charging.
