The Oppo R11s was launched along with the R11s Plus on November 2.
Oppo recently launched the R11s and R11s Plus smartphones in China. The Oppo R11s is priced at RMB 2,999 (Rs 29,300 approximately) for the black and champagne color models, while the special red variant retails at RMB 3,199 (Rs 31,300 approximately). The Oppo R11s Plus, on the other hand is priced at RMB 3,699 (Rs 36,200 approximately). Before its official sale on November 10, the Oppo R11s has been spotted on Oppomart.
On Oppomart, the smartphone is listed for $529 which translates to approximately Rs 34,400. Comparatively, the Oppo R11s on Oppomart is selling for higher than the official price. All three colors of the Oppo R11s are available on the website. Also, the smartphone is currently available for pre-order only with shipping set to being within 10 days. However, the Oppo R11s Plus isn’t listed here as yet. This seems reasonable since the smartphone will go on sale towards the end from November 24.
Oppo R11s, R11s Plus specifications
The Oppo R11s and R11s Plus come with almost the same set of specifications albeit few differences. The smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC. For photography, the R11s and R11s Plus sports a combination of 20-megapixel f/1.7 aperture sensor and 16-megapixel sensor with LED flash at the rear. Up front, the smartphones house a 20-megapixel camera with Beautify 5.0 AI technology for selfies. On the software front, the smartphones run Android Nougat with ColorOS v3.2 layered above. Coming to the differences, the Oppo R11s features a 6.01-inch full HD+ display, while the Oppo R11s Plus flaunts a larger 6.43-inch display. The display on both the smartphones have 18:9 aspect ratio making it a first in the R series. In terms of memory, the Oppo R11s offers 4GB of RAM, and the R11s Plus packs 6GB of RAM. The Oppo R11s and R11s Plus is fueled by a 3,205mAh battery, and 4,000mAh battery respectively, with support for VOOC fast charging. The smartphones also feature a rear fingerprint sensor.
