New details about the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) surface online.

It has been widely rumored that Samsung has been working on the Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphones. The rumor mills around the company’s next smartphones have started buzzing and thanks to the renders and leaks, we have a fair idea of what to expect from the smartphones too. In the latest development, a new leak has surfaced online confirming that the Galaxy A5 (2018) will feature an Infinity Display and with an aspect ratio of 18:9, just like the Galaxy S8.

The latest leak was spotted by Sammobile on the HTML5 Test website hinting that the smartphone will feature an Infinity Display that may be similar to the already launched Galaxy S8 Active. The smartphone was spotted bearing model number SM-A530F. The listing further reveals that the Galaxy A5 (2018) will runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box on the software front, which is a bit disappointing. Apart from this, the smartphone’s display will come with an 846 x 412-pixel resolution.

Considering the Galaxy A5 (2018) has been rumored to get Galaxy S8-like Infinity Display, the smartphone will skip physical buttons on the front and instead opt for a rear fingerprint scanner. If renders from the past are anything to go by, the rumors showcase the devices with minimal bezels on the side and no physical button on the front. At the back, there is a single camera sensor along with a dedicated fingerprint sensor. ALSO READ: Samsung SM-W2018 flip phone hands on images leaked

The smartphone is also expected to feature glass and metal design as seen in the current models. Under the hood, the Galaxy A5 (2018) will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with 4GB of RAM.
