LG V30+ to go on sale on December 18: Price, specifications, features

LG today launched the V30+ in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 44,990, and will go on sale starting December 18. The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Amazon India.

As the name suggests, the LG V30+ is a minimal upgrade to the already launched the LG V30. The smartphone comes with 128GB of storage as compared to 64GB on the LG V30. As a part of the first sale, LG is offering a free one-time screen replacement worth Rs 12,000, a free wireless charger worth Rs 3,000 approximately, and in-app purchases worth Rs 6,400 for the Beat Fever app.

LG had unveiled the V30 and V30+ at IFA 2017 in Berlin earlier this year. The smartphone’s highlights include a P-OLED FullVision screen, and a camera with aperture of f/1.6. There’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, facial and voice recognition support, and IP68 certification for water and dust resistant.

The LG V30+ flaunts a 6-inch QHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB RAM.

For photography, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel + 13-megapixel setup at the back with support for OIS, EIS, 3-axis stabilization, laser, and phase detection auto-focus. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter with a f/2.2 aperture for selfie and video calling. On the software front, the  LG V30+ runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box, and is slated to get the Android Oreo update soon.
