The Meizu M4 is believed to be launching sometime in November. A leaked photo now shows us what the upcoming device could look like.

Last month, Meizu launched the M3 Max in China, and now it seems to be gearing up to launch another device, reportedly called M4. The smartphone has been spotted on China’s TENAA. The listing of the smartphone was spotted by GizmoChina via a Weibo user. While there is no official confirmation about the exact device name, it is widely expected to be called the Meizu M4.

The TENAA shows off two photos of the Meizu M4 hinting at what the upcoming Meizu device might look like. The Weibo user further adds that the Meizu M4 will feature a metallic body, and does not feature fingerprint sensor. However, with fingerprint scanners becoming quite common in the affordable smartphone segment, it is not very farfetched for Meizu to opt for the feature. In any case, the photos clearly show a physical home button up front that could potentially have a fingerprint scanner embedded.

In terms of the design, the smartphone seems to borrowed elements from its rivals Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and a bit from the Mi 5 as well. While the rear of the phone features a design which is very similar to the Redmi Note 3, the front panel looks very much like the Mi 5 along with the pill-shaped physical home button. Further, according to the Weibo user, the smartphone will be priced somewhere around 899 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 8,900. While other details of the smartphone are scarce at the moment, Meizu M4 is not the only phone the company has been working on.

The rumor mills also mention another upcoming smartphone called the Meizu Pro 6S. As per reports, this device too could be launched as early as next month. The Pro 6S recently received China’s certification, and was listed on the website with the model number M570Q-S.

According to the listing, the Meizu Pro 6S will come with 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 1080p full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. The upcoming smartphone is expected to be bundled with an mCharge 3.0 charger, and will also boast an metal unibody design. Other details about the Pro 6S specifications are yet to be revealed.

As the name suggests, the Meizu Pro 6S is likely to be an improved variant of the Pro 6, which was launched earlier this year. Though the Pro 6S will retain the same 5.2-inch screen size, under the hood, it will get an upgraded Exynos chipset.

In the meantime, the rumor mills have also mentioned the Meizu Pro 7, which more or less sounds like the successor of Meizu Pro 6. Though details are scarce again, it is expected to flaunt a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge-like dual-edged curved display. It is also expected to retain the loop design for antennas and LED flash ring from the Pro 6.

To put some of these rumors into context, the Meizu Pro 6 was launched with a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass, and a MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor paired with Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

The smartphone also featured 32GB and 64GB onboard storage options, 21-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2,560mAh battery with mCharge 3.0 fast charging support.

In terms of connectivity, the Meizu Pro 6 comes with dual-SIM card slots, 4G and VoLTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, and USB Type-C port. As far as software is concerned, the Pro 6 runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box wrapped under Meizu’s Flyme OS.
