Huawei Enjoy 6s spotted on TENAA with key specifications, features in tow. The upcoming device is the successor to the Enjoy 5s.

Huawei has been busy lately, and after recently launching the Nova in China, it is now gearing up to launch the Mate 9 on November 3. Adding to these, Huawei is also said to be working on a new smartphone which is currently rumored to be called Enjoy 6s. As the name suggests, the Huawei Enjoy 6s will be the successor to the Enjoy 5s that was launched back in December last year. The Huawei Enjoy 6s smartphone bears the model number DIG-AL00 and has just received TENAA certification.

The TENAA listing of the Huawei Enjoy 6s, spotted by PlayfulDroid, reveals what the smartphone could look like and also some of its key specifications as well. According to the TENAA listing, the Huawei Enjoy 6s will feature a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display. Under the hood, a 1.4GHz octa-core processor is expected to run. The smartphone could come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

In the photography department, the Huawei Enjoy 6s is expected to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Its connectivity options revealed include dual-SIM support and 4G VoLTE support for HD calls. On the software front, the Huawei Enjoy 6s is expected to run on Android Marshmallow 6.0. And lastly, the smartphone is expected to be backed by a 2,920mAh non-removable battery.

Looking at the images revealed by TENAA, the first thing that would catch one’s eye is the striking resemblance of the back panel with that of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3. The camera lens is placed at the top-center of the smartphone with the fingerprint scanner located below. The rounded edges and the top and bottom partition in the Enjoy 6s are also exactly the same as in the Redmi Note 3. The Huawei logo is placed exactly where the Xiaomi logo is placed in the Redmi Note 3. The only thing missing is the speaker grille. The front panel shows the Enjoy 6s in white color which is different from that of the Enjoy 5s. However, the location of the camera lens and also the Huawei logo on the bottom end is akin to that of the Enjoy 5s.

Taking its expected specifications into consideration, there are a few noticeable improvements and upgrades. To start with, the Huawei Enjoy 6s will come with an improved RAM and increased internal storage. The existing 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage in the Huawei Enjoy 5s would be upgraded to 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The OS would be upgraded from the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 in the Enjoy 5s to Android Marshmallow 6.0. The Huawei Enjoy 6s is also expected to get 4G VoLTE support which would be an addition to the 4G LTE support available in the Enjoy 5s. The battery would also get a slight improvement from 2,200mAh to 2,920mAh in the Enjoy 6s.
