The OnePlus 3T has been launched in two variants, with prices starting from Rs 29,999.
OnePlus launched its newest smartphone — OnePlus 3T — in India earlier this month. It is set to go on sale exclusively via Amazon India on December 14, but today some people stand a chance to get their hands on the smartphone early. The OnePlus 3T will be on sale today, but only for Amazon Prime members.
The OnePlus 3T sale for Amazon Prime members is set to kick off at 2:00PM, and will go on till 3:00PM. But as is the case with such sales, chances are that the stocks will run out in a matter of seconds. Even Amazon India says as much — “Due to limited quantities, members will be able to avail this offer while stocks last.” To take part in today’s sale, you will first need to be an Amazon Prime member. In case you aren’t, you can still register for the service by paying Rs 499 for a year’s worth of membership.
Once registered, you need to head over to the OnePlus 3T sale page on Amazon India before 2:00PM and wait till the sale begins. When it does, you need to quickly add a OnePlus 3T unit to your shopping cart, and checkout within 15 minutes. In case you are not able to complete the checkout in the prescribed time, the unit will be removed from the shopping cart and given to the whoever is next in line. Similarly, if all the units are taken, you will be added to a waitlist, and when a unit becomes available, you will get a chance to add it to your shopping cart. Now, what one needs to note is that units are limited, and a Prime membership doesn’t necessarily guarantee that you will get your hands on the OnePlus 3T.
The OnePlus 3T is essentially a better variant of the flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone that was launched earlier this year. The new smartphone brings improvements like a better processor, a bigger battery, and a bigger selfie camera as well. OnePlus 3T specifications
The OnePlus 3T flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) Optic AMOLED display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The OnePlus 3T also features a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button up front, an Alert Slider on the side, a 3,400mAh battery with Dash Charge support, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card (nano) slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. The OnePlus 3T runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS, and will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat later this year.
