The massive device comes with 12-megapixel camera on the front and back.

While the rumor has it that HMD Global will be launching the new Nokia 8 and Nokia P1 smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, it isn’t yet clear if that’s all we will see from Nokia at the event. Now, while there is a handful already known about the Nokia P1 and Nokia 8, it is the first time that a whopping 18.4-inch Nokia-branded tablet has been spotted online.

Spotted at GFXBench by NokiaPowerUser, the listing reveals that the unnamed tablet will feature a huge 18.4-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Under the hood, the purported Nokia tablet will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The listing indicates 52GB of internal storage, which means it is indicating the the free storage left for usage after OS installation and partition, the actual on-board storage is most likely to be 64GB.

For photography, the Nokia tablet sports a 12-megapixel primary camera with Ultra HD video recording support at a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, along with features like autofocus and LED flash. Up front, it comes with another 12-megapixel camera sensor with same video resolution, however sans the LED flash. On the software front, the table shows that the tablet would run on Android 7.0 Nougat, layered with Android FIH Edition on top. Connectivity options revealed are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi,Bluetooth, Compass, GPS, NFC and single SIM support.

While this is a first that we saw a tablet with such a massive display, in the past we have learnt quite a bit about the Nokia D1C tablet, which for the longest time was believed to be a smartphone by the company. According to a benchmark listing revealed back in October last year, the Nokia D1C would feature a 13.8-inch full HD (1080p) display.

A GFXBench had also revealed that the tablet runs on Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor (eight Cortex A53 cores) clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The listing also reveals 9GB of available storage, which means it could come with 16GB onboard storage. ALSO READ: Nokia D1C is not a smartphone but an Android Nougat tablet with 13.8-inch display

In the photography department, a 15-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and a 7-megapixel selfie camera is also expected. Connectivity options on the tablet include Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. Other details such as 4G connectivity, battery capacity and design are currently unknown. The Nokia D1C tablet is expected to carry a mid-range price tag.

Now, it’s been a while that we haven’t heard about the D1C tablet, so nothing can be said about its launch either. Although, considering that the 18.4-inch Nokia tablet will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset (that is if this listing is actually true), and looking at its massive screen, which could possibly be used a secondary screen with a desktop, it may just make an appearance at the MWC.
