Another day, another Samsung smartphone leaks online. Among Samsung’s upcoming list of smartphones, the Galaxy C5 Pro has been detailed online in what could be considered the longest time possible. Now, the latest information spilling out the rumor mill suggests that the smartphone has received Wi-Fi certification and has been spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance website.
The certification on the website is dated December 27, 2016 and lists the device with a model number SM-C5010. The same model number has been listed previously on Indian import-export website Zaubaa. The Zauba listing reveals a price tag of Rs 20,483, but it does not necessarily indicate the official price.
Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro specifications, features
The Galaxy C5 Pro has already received TENAA certification which throws light on some of the key features of the smartphone. Based on the certification, the smartphone is likely to be 6.95mm slim and come with a 5.2-inch display offering full HD resolution. In terms of design, it is expected that Samsung will be placing the antenna slots on the top and bottom of the rear panel.

For photography enthusiasts, the Galaxy C5 Pro will pack 16-megapixel cameras at both ends. Keeping the smartphone ticking will be a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
Recently, the smartphone was spotted in a promo image alongside the upcoming C7 Pro and the recently launched C9 Pro. To give a perspective, the C7 Pro features an all-metal unibody and boasts a 5.7-inch full HD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626, Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB built-in storage. In the photography department, the Galaxy C7 Pro is expected to house a 16-megapixel camera on the rear. Up front too, the smartphone is expected sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, the Galaxy C7 Pro will most likely run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. For power, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a 3,000mAh battery along with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The C9 Pro, on the other hand, has been launched in India. It features a 6-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 653 octa-core chipset paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB RAM. There is 64GB onboard storage on offer, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. It further includes a 16-megapixel rear and front camera. It is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery. It also includes a fingerprint scanner which is embedded into the home button. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. On the software front, the phablet runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box. The smartphone is priced at Rs 37,000 approximately.
