Google Pixel, Pixel XL available with Rs 13,000 cash back offer: Report

The Rs 13,000 cash back offer on Google Pixel and Pixel XL is not just limited to credit cards, but also applicable on debit cards and cash based transactions.


Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are available for offline purchase with Rs 13,000 cash back. Interestingly, Google has not kept the offer limited to purchases made via credit or debit cards. The company has extended the cashback offer on purchases made in cash as well.

‘Pixel and Pixel XL purchases made via cash will also be eligible for the cashback, effectively offering a Rs. 13,000 instant discount on the smartphones,’ Gadgets360 reports. The cashback offer would also be applicable on EMI purchases via credit card and ends on May 31.

Google Pixel is currently priced at Rs 57,000 for the 32GB variant and Rs 66,000 for the 128GB variant in India. The larger sibling, Pixel XL is priced at Rs 67,000 for the 32GB variant and Rs 76,000 variant for the 128GB variant. With the cashback offer in place, you can purchase Pixel (32GB) for as low as Rs 44,000; Pixel (128GB) for Rs 53,000; whereas the Pixel XL (32GB) variant will set you back by Rs 54,000, and Pixel XL (128GB) for Rs 63,000.

Both ‘Made by Google’ Pixel and Pixel XL features a 12.3-megapixel primary rear camera with LED Flash, 4K video recording, electronic image stabilization (EIS), PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. The camera on Google Pixel smartphones has gained DxO mark of 89 which is the highest camera score given by DxO. Pixel sports a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It houses a 2,770 mAh battery with a standby time of up to 19 days. The Pixel XL, on the other hand, sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It drives its juice from a 3,450 mAh battery with standby time of up to 23 days.

Both Pixel and Pixel XL are single SIM (nano-SIM) devices and run on Android Nougat 7.1. The smartphone features 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port for connectivity and charging. Other connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC.
