Along with the iOS, watchOS and macOS update, Apple also released an update for the Apple TV.

Just about a month back Apple had rolled out iOS 10.3, WatchOS 3.2 and MacOS 10.12.4, all of which came with some considerable changes. And this week, the company has launched follow up updates of the same, with the release of Apple iOS 10.3.2, watchOS 3.2.2, macOS 10.12.5. Most of these consist of bug fixes and security enhancements.

iOS 10.3.2

iOS 10.3.2 is considered a minor point release update containing bug fixes and security improvements for iOS 10.3, which added major features like Find My AirPods, a Podcasts app widget, new app animations, an Apple ID Settings menu, weather forecasts in the Maps app, an iCloud storage meter and a complete under-the-hood revamp of the file system.

The download size of the iOS 10.3.2 update varies based on the device you have. On the iPhone SE, it appears to be close to 170MB. And it is about 197MB on the iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 7 Plus. The iOS update is compatible with iPhone 5 and later, iPad 4th generation and later, iPad mini 2 and later, and iPod touch 6th generation and later. The iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C are not eligible for this update because the update software is only compatible with 64-bit devices. You can update your iOS device by launching the Settings app and then tapping General, and Software Update. ALSO READ: Apple WWDC 2017: KGI analyst Kuo predicts new 10.5-inch iPad, Siri speaker with touchscreen

watchOS 3.2.2

Similar to the iPhone update, the Apple Watch update mostly covers bug fixes and security patches. The previous updates for watchOS had notable features like Theater Mode. When running the update, you have to make sure the Apple Watch is connected to the charger with over 50 percent battery remaining. The update can run while you are still connected to your iPhone though. To begin the update, launch the Watch app on your iPhone, and tap General, and then Software Update. ALSO READ: Apple WWDC 2017 to kick off on June 5 at 10:30PM IST; here’s everything you need to know

macOS 10.12.5

Unlike the iOS and watchOS update, the macOS Sierra 10.12.5 fixes more than just security flaws. The update deals with issues where the audio may stutter while playing through USB headphones and support was added for the media-free installation of Windows 10 Creator Update using Boot Camp. The update also enhances the compatibility of the Mac App Store with future software updates; and adds support for more digital camera RAW formats.

Further, it also resolves a pertinent issue, which was affecting some enterprise and education customers, that caused the system date to be set to the year 2040. The update also prevents a potential kernel panic when starting up from a NetInstall image. This fix is available when starting up from a NetInstall image created from the macOS 10.12.5 installer. ALSO READ: New Wi-Fi chipset bug puts iOS, Android devices at hacking risk

The software also includes several security updates. The iTunes 12.6.1 update is also available in the App Store. It contains performance improvements. The macOS 10.12.5 can be installed through the App Store.

tvOS 10.2.1

In addition to all of these updates, Apple also released an update for the Apple TV today. The tvOS 10.2.1 also comes with bug fixes and other enhancements to the fourth-generation Apple TV. In order to update your Apple TV, launch the Settings app, and then go to Software Update, under the General tab. If you have your Apple TV set to update automatically, it may already be installed, or the process may start on its own when you turn on your Apple TV. ALSO READ: Apple to end support for 32-bit apps on iOS 11
