A huge chunk of OnePlus 5 leaks has surfaced online.

We are barely a week from the day of OnePlus 5’s official launch, which is scheduled for June 20 globally and June 22 in India. And just days ahead of the big day, an entire list of specifications, estimated pricing and an image of the OnePlus 5 have been leaked. However, it’s worth pointing out that as compared to the price that was previously leaked, the new tipped pricing is much lower.

OnePlus 5 price

As opposed to the leak last week, which suggested that the 8GB variants of the OnePlus 5 will retail in India at around Rs 37,999, the new tip suggests the starting price of the OnePlus 5 to be at $479, which translates to about Rs 30,800. Though OnePlus hasn’t really said anything about the RAM on the OnePlus 5 or the variants it may come in, many leaks suggest that the OnePlus 5 will be available in two variants, which will differ based on their RAM – a 6GB RAM variant and an 8GB RAM model.

Do note, that the previous price leak was for the higher 8GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 5, and today’s leak suggests the starting price, which going by the rumor of there being a 6GB RAM variant, will possibly be the price for the lower model.

OnePlus 5 image render

The same blog that shares the price leak, also shares a leaked image render of the OnePlus 5. The purported image of the OnePlus 5 looks quite similar to the leaked image we’ve seen previously. Though the render shows uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 7 Jet Black variant, going by the picture of the OnePlus 5 that the company CEO Pete Lau last week, the tipped design does look quite plausible. It has the some horizontally placed camera at the back, and similar antenna bands above it as we saw in the teased image. ALSO READ: OnePlus 5 with 8GB of RAM rumored to launch exclusively on Amazon.in; camera sample teased by CEO Pete Lau

Further, the render shows a fingerprint sensor that’s very similar to the one in the Apple iPhone 7. The same round home button, as opposed to the elliptical ones seen on all the previous OnePlus smartphones. The render also imagines the volume rocker placed on the left edge of the smartphone and the notification slider placed right above it.

OnePlus 5 specifications

Besides, a detailed list of the OnePlus 5 specifications have been leaked too. According to the most recent leak, the OnePlus 5 will run OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The OnePlus 5 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a range of DCI-P3 colours to ensure colour accuracy. As it has been confirmed already, the OnePlus 5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood, in line with previous leaks, today’s leak also suggests the device to come in two RAM variants, which is a 6GB and an 8GB one. Further, in terms of storage, the phone has been tipped to come with either 64GB or 128GB of ultra flash storage (UFS) 2.1 storage. ALSO READ: OnePlus 5 latest teaser aims to remind us of how cool OnePlus 3T was

For photography, the leak believes that for the dual-camera setup, the OnePlus 5 will sport a combination of 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture, and a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture. Up front, the smartphone has been tipped to come with a 16-megapixel sensor. Again, in line with previous leaks the OnePlus 5 has been tipped to be fuelled by a 3300mAh battery, and feature NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 support for connectivity. ALSO READ: OnePlus 5 will sport a horizontally placed dual-camera setup: CEO Pete Lau
