The Asus Zenfone Live is rumored to be unveiled sometime before end of this month.

While all eyes are set on the launch of the Zenfone 4-series on August 19, Asus side-by-side seems to be working on launching yet another phone in the UK market. An Asus device under the name Zenfone (A007) has been spotted in FCC certification site hinting at an imminent launch soon.

As spotted by Androidheadlines, the model number has been previously associated with Zenfone Live smartphone. To recap, the Asus Zenfone Live was launched in India earlier this year for Rs 9,999 and comes with some AR-based features as its USP. The FCC listing is rather said to be hinting at the US launch of the Zenfone Live smartphone. The listing shows that the official submission date is marked as August 8, the letter accompanying the initial FCC documentation shows a date of July 19.

As the name suggests, the smartphone has its main focus on the camera, and hence Asus is also calling it the world’s first smartphone to boast a real-time beautification technology along with BeautyLive mode which supports live-streaming. The live-streaming support is for Facebook and YouTube. The feature extends the live filters along with a face beautification mode to live videos. In terms of camera, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, auto-focus, and LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, and soft light LED flash for brighter portraits. ALSO READ: Top 10 smartphones with 4GB of RAM under Rs 15,000: Xiaomi Redmi 4, Honor 6X, Smartron srt.phone and more

Also on offer is a 16GB storage model or 32GB version. The memory is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone is backed by a 2,650mAh battery and connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. ALSO READ: Asus Zenfone Live (ZB501KL) review: Move beyond selfie phones, enter live video
