Two new OnePlus 5T leaks surface on the web.

With barely a couple of months passed since the OnePlus 5 hit the markets, the launch of its successor – OnePlus 5T – is already anticipated soon. We have not heard much of official news around the smartphone, but the leaks have been in abundance. One such is a teaser image, shared by Android Authority, which it attributes to a “trusted source”, that reveals our best look yet at the OnePlus 5T.

The leak image does not show off the entirety of the phone, but it does give us a better look at the display, bezels, and frame. Pretty much in line with the render image shared by /Leaks recently, we can see the OnePlus 5T with extremely narrow bezels on the top and bottom, and nearly sans bezel on the sides. The angle of the phone is such in the leaked poster, that we get a diagonal view of the device, which also manages to reveal the speaker grille placed in the bottom of the device. As rumored earlier as well, we see no physical home button on the front of the device.

In addition to this leak, OnePlus was apparently also leaked on the company’s official website. Report says that the company immediately pulled down the listing when they realised it mistakenly went live. In the meanwhile, Twitter user @Jacky_Tech managed to take pictures of the listing. While many argue the authenticity of these images in Jacky’s tweet, the purported OnePlus 5T in the pictures again carry similarities with the previously leaked designs. Big 18:9 screen, narrow bezel on top and bottom, and no physical button on the front. The image carries the tagline – “Larger display, Same footprint”. That sounds like OnePlus. ALSO READ: OnePlus 5T leaked render reveals edge-to-edge display, rear fingerprint sensor

If the leaked screenshot is true after all, we must point out that the image also reveals the placement of the mode toggle and volume rocker on the left, and the power button on the right. Additionally, another TechPP report now reveals that the OnePlus 5T will sport a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. DON’T MISS: OnePlus 5 Long Term Review: Still feeling the power

What makes people believe the tweet could be fishy are the words “secret phone” in the URL of the website, which the Twitter user has shared.

Other than the leaks, last week, the company began to send out invites for an event on November 5 in China, which is believed to be the event for the official launch of the OnePlus 5T. Not much could be drawn from the invite, but the outlined smartphone in the poster does look similar to the leaked designs of the OnePlus 5T we have been seeing all along. Another hint is the letter T written in the middle of the device. RELATED: OnePlus 6 to launch in early 2018; OnePlus 5T likely to be skipped
