The Mi MIX 2 will be available across offline stores starting early November.
After having launched the Mi MIX 2 in India on October 10, Xiaomi held the first sale of its smartphone on October 17. The second sale for the Mi MIX 2 will take place today on mi.com and on Flipkart at 12:00PM. The smartphone is priced at Rs 35,999. Following this sale, the Mi MIX 2 will also be available across all offline partners of Xiaomi from early November.
During its first sale, the Mi MIX 2 is said to have garnered a response of over 1 lakh people. The sale also concluded within a duration of 3 minutes. The Mi MIX 2′s highlight is noticeably its design of a bezel free display. The large display boasts almost no bezels on each side with a thin layer at the bottom. The front camera is placed at the visible bottom strip leaving the top completely bezel free. In comparison to the first bezel-less Mi MIX, Xiaomi says that the chin size of the Mi MIX 2 is 12 percent smaller. The smartphone is clad in a metal body with a rear glass panel in black color.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a 5.99-inch full HD+ AMOLED display of 18:9 aspect ratio and with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 on top for protection. Under its hood, runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In the photography department, the Mi MIX 2 sports a 12-megapixel rear camera of f/2.0 aperture with Sony IMX386 sensor, and 4-axis OIS. Up front, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The connectivity options available on the Mi MIX 2 include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C port. On the software front, it runs Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 9 layered on top. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,400mAh battery.
