Huawei‘s sub-brand Honor last month launched the Honor 7X in China. Now, it looks like the smartphone is all set for an India launch. Honor’s Global President George Zhao announced that the company will launch the Honor 7X smartphone in India by December. He further mentioned that the smartphone will be exclusive to offline market in India.

“We will launch Honor 7X in December at such a price that it will have no competitor in that segment,” Zhao said while unveiling the roadmap for the Indian market. In an interview with IANS, Zhao further mentioned that Honor will soon start to include AI capabilities in its phones, and this will help the company target top slot in Indian smartphone market.

“We have the capability to out compete other dominating players in the Indian smartphone market in terms of quality, but our marketing efforts need to improve,” Zhao said while talking about the upcoming product launch in India.
