Samsung Galaxy S9+ with 4GB RAM, octa-core processor leaked

It was earlier believed that the Galaxy S9 duo would come with 6GB or 8GB RAM this time.


The Galaxy S9 duo is the new anticipated highlight from Samsung, and fans and critics are looking forward to every information, official or rumored, about the smartphones. Coming in today is an alleged benchmark leak of the Galaxy S9+ smartphone, which claims to reveals a bunch of specifics.

Spotted on Geekbench (via PhoneArena), the listing reveals that the Galaxy S9+ will be packed with 4GB of RAM, as opposed to the 6GB/8GB that was anticipated till now. One other thing that the listing confirms is the fact that the smartphone will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo on board. We don’t have any reason to believe that the Galaxy S9 model will feature a different technical specifications configuration except for the display, like it has been for the Galaxy S8 as well.

Further, although it is too early to expect an official date of release, many reports suggested a late February or early March release for the smartphone. However, contrary to that, there have also been a word on a release as early as January 2018 for the Galaxy S9 duo. Few days ago, Samsung quietly launched the next-gen Exynos 9810 chipset, built on Samsung’s second-generation 10nm production node. The chipset is believed to be 20 percent faster than the predecessor found in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Samsung has not official revealed which devices might be powered by the Exynos 9810, but, there are wide rumors that the 2018-flagships – Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be powered by the chipset.
