There are a bunch of discounts, cashbacks and EMI offers on the purchase of the smartphone.
After launching it last week, Flipkart’s own brand of smartphone, the Billion Capture+ is going up for sale today for the first time. The Flipkart smartphone is offered in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM, which is priced at Rs 10,999, the other with 4GB of RAM, which is priced at Rs 12,999. Now, as promised by the Flipkart, the smartphone is selling with various partner offers.
To begin with, both the variants of Billion Capture+ can be purchased on EMI, with the lowest installments priced at Rs 534 a month, whereas for the higher variant the lowest EMI is Rs 631 every month. There is also an exchange offer of up to Rs 10,000 on both the models. Which means, if you exchange an old smartphone for Billion Capture+, you can receive a discount of up to Rs 10,000, which will be judged on the basis of the quality, condition, and ‘market value’ of the smartphone. Similarly, you can get up to Rs 12,000 on exchange, during the purchase of the higher variant of Billion Capture+.
There is also a one-year buyback guarantee, which is worth noting. Basically, Flipkart is guaranteeing a buyback price when you exchange this phone with Flipkart for a newer phone. The condition being, if you exchange the Billion Capture+ 3GB variant between six to eight months, you will receive a buyback value of Rs 4,400, and Rs 5,200 for the 4GB variant in the same period. In case the exchange is done in the period of nine to twelve months from purchase, a user will be eligible for Rs 3,520 for the 3GB variant, and Rs 4,200 for the 4GB model. Further, customers will get an extra 10 percent instant discount on purchase via HDFC debit or credit card. Purchase via Axis Bank Buzz credit card will make a customer eligible for five percent off.
Other than discounts, there are also offers where the buyers will get three months of free SonyLIV Premium membership, they will get an extra 20 percent off on their next purchase of billion product. Flipkart is also offering an extra Rs 200 off on Smartbuy Bluetooth Speaker, when someone purchases the Billion Capture+.
The e-commerce company has also partnered with Idea Cellular to offer an additional 60GB of free data free for prepaid users, when the network is used in the Billion Capture+ smartphones. Additionally, the smartphone’s purchase will also give customers a 10-ride Ola Share Pass worth Rs 249 free. Additionally, Flipkart, for the first time has also talked about its after-sales services. The company said that it has over 158 repair service network in 135 cities in India. The Billion Capture+ smartphone will be supported by the pan India service network of F1 Info Solutions, which is now owned by Flipkart. F1 Info Solutions is also a service partner of brands such as Apple, Samsung, HP, Lenovo, Sony, and Asus, among others.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D glass on top and pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM.
The 13-megapixel+13-megapixel dual-camera setup at the back comes with additional features such as super night mode and Portrait Mode. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,500mAh battery with Quick Charge, which the company claims will last up to two days. On the connectivity front, the phone comes with a USB Type-C port, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, and Dual-SIM. On the software front, the Flipkart Billion Capture+ runs stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat and the company says that it will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo very soon.
