After launching the ELYT e7 in June, Intex has now launched a new smartphone called, the ELYT e6. The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999, and will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting December 15. Among its highlights are the 4,000mAh battery, 13-megapixel rear camera, and 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The display comes with the protection of Dragontrail glass along with 2.5D curved glass atop. Under the hood is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz, and paired with 3GB of RAM. There is also 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash. The ELYT e6 comes with a 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to offer up to 8-16 hours of talktime, and more than 12 days on standby mode. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat, which comes with features like multi-window, quick reply and more.
At this price range, the Intex ELYT e6 will face tough competition from the likes of Nokia 2 and Xiaomi Redmi 5A to name a few.
The Nokia 2 features a 5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB internal storage. It also includes an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, built-in Google Assistant, and it runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Nokia 2 is priced at Rs 6,999.
The Redmi 5A, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 4,999. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras. Armed with a 3,000mAh battery, the Redmi 5A runs Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
