Just yesterday we came across few leaks about the upcoming Meizu M6s smartphone. The smartphone is set to launch officially in China on January 17. The company has sent out media invites for the same. Now, the Meizu M6s has been spotted on TENAA revealing the design and some specifications of the smartphone.
First spotted by GSMarena, the images spotted on TENAA are in line with previous rumors. To begin with, the smartphone will flaunt an 18:9 aspect ratio display that is in line with the current trend. At the back, there are U-shaped antenna bands at the top and the bottom of the device, There is a single camera with flash placed in the center. On the left side, there are the volume rockers, while on the right there is the power button.
What’s interesting here is that just below the power button, there is another key that reports suggest is side mounted fingerprint sensor. However, this contradicts an alleged hands-on video spotted online showing the smartphone with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone is said to feature a 5.7-inch 1440×720 pixels display. Under the hood is expected to be Samsung’s Exynos 7872 SoC coupled with a Mali-G71 CPU. The smartphone is expected to launch in one variant only- 32GB of internal storage with 3GB of RAM.
Expected to be armed by a 3,000mAh battery, it will also support 18W fast charging. Unfortunately, the Meizu M6s is said to run on Android Nougat 7.0 with the company’s custom FlyMe OS 6.0 on top. In terms of pricing, the Meizu M6s is expected to be priced somewhere around RMB 1,000 (Rs 9,700 approximately).
